Saint Anne Communities offers residents a culture of self-respect and dignity in a Christian atmosphere. Each resident is offered individualized, high quality health care that encourages freedom and independence while preserving their dignity and uniqueness as creations of God.

Saint Anne Communities is a non-profit health care and retirement community. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to all those entrusted to us. We serve each individual with love and concern in a Christian environment, where we respect and meet each person’s special needs.

Saint Anne Communities welcomes people of all faiths to our loving, Christian facility. We are a service of the Fort Wayne-South Bend Diocese, and we celebrate daily Catholic Mass, as well as weekly Protestant services, in our beautiful chapels. We also offer a live cable broadcast of all services at each location, so you can watch in your own room or apartment if you’re unable to attend services in person.

Longevity.

Since 1967, Saint Anne Communities has established the benchmark for nursing care within the Fort Wayne area. Over the years, our services have expanded greatly to meet community needs. Today, we offer a full continuum of care, from independent living and adult day services to assisted living, memory care, and 24-hour nursing care at multiple locations in the greater Fort Wayne area.

We focus on providing the best possible care to individuals entrusted to us, and we treat each of our residents as family. Our desire is to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of each person in our care.

Saint Anne Communities is a member of Catholic Health Association (CHA) and Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. Both of our locations boast an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). We are licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) and maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations, as confirmed by an annual inspection by the ISDH. Results from our latest survey are available in the main lobby at each location or online at medicare.gov.

History

  • 1960

    The University of Notre Dame

    In 1960, The University of Notre Dame studied the aging population in the Fort Wayne-South Bend area and discovered critical housing needs. They envisioned Saint Anne Communities as one way to help solve this problem.

  • 1966

    Mrs. Geneva Davidson

    That vision became a reality in 1966, thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Geneva Davidson, who was dedicated to the needs of the aging population, especially those without family support. Upon her death, Mrs. Davidson left the majority of her estate to the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend with instructions that the money be used to build a home for the aging.

  • 1967

    Saint Anne Communities Opening

    Since opening in 1967, Saint Anne Communities has become the benchmark for high-quality healthcare in Fort Wayne. Over the years, Saint Anne Communities added 52 apartments and 16 rehab suites to its Randallia Place campus, for a total of 161 nursing home beds and 88 apartments. Saint Anne’s also offers a beautiful and spacious chapel, where residents and their loved ones can celebrate daily Mass or weekly Protestant services.

  • 2005

    Rehabilitation Gym and Suites

    In 2005, Saint Anne Communities added a 3,500 square foot rehabilitation gym and opened 16 rehabilitation suites for those needing short-term stays at Randallia Place. 

  • 2010

    The Courtyard Club Adult Day Service

    The Courtyard Club Adult Day Service opened in 2010 at Randallia Place in response to the growing needs of the community. The Club offers a friendly and safe environment for individuals living at home to stay active and enjoy socialization.

  • 2012

    Memory Care

    In 2012, Saint Anne’s added an assisted living area specializing in memory care at Randallia Place, with 14 individual apartments surrounding a family room and offering 24-hour staffing and specialized activities for those struggling with the effects of mild to moderate dementia.

  • 2015

    Grace Pointe

    In July 2015, a second location was temporarily added, Saint Anne Communities ~ Grace Pointe, through a partnership with Catholic Charities. The Grace Pointe location implemented the same memory care concept developed in 2012 at Randallia Place. Grace Pointe offered an entire building dedicated to the needs of those struggling with the effects of mild to moderate dementia.

  • 2017

    Saint Anne Victory Noll

    Saint Anne Communities welcomed another campus into the Saint Anne family in 2017. Saint Anne Victory Noll, an independent and assisted living community located in Huntington, Indiana, is now open to the public. Located on the lovely and spacious grounds of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters in Huntington County, Saint Anne Communities Victory Noll offers retirement living in a beautiful, retreat-like setting.
